WHO ARE WE?
Awnul Aitaam Charity Concern Foundation is a national h u m a n i t a r i a n a n d developmental organization that is nonprofit; non-governmental and nonpolitical currently active in the northeastern Nigeria.
AACCF was founded in February 2020 and formally registered with Corporate Affairs Commission Nigeria in August 2024 with the aim to improving the life of vulnerable and less privileged focusing on children, women and Orphans of conflict through protection, education, livelihood improvement, food security as well as strengthening the resilience of the affected population due to conflict and natural disaster especially those in the rural areas. AACCF’s Vision is to establish an empowered and inclusive community where the right of women and children are respected. While the Mission is to empower and transform communities through integrated emergency response and sustainable developmental projects.
The aims and Objectives are:
-To improve proper life of orphans by giving them modern and Islamic knowledge.
– Taking care of widows who are in worry and hardship of life survival
– Assisting the sick people around us at home or in hospitals who are in desperate need of help and treatment.
– Giving shelter to orphans and giving them sallah clothing’s every year and other needs.
– C o m m u n i t y a w a r e n e s s
especially Muslim women in different ways.
– Giving the needy people Ramadan Kareem(Iftar) during the holy month of Ramadan to break their fast. -And other assistance among our poor people in the community AACCF activities are integrated with focus on education, camp coordination and management, provision of shelter and NFIs, waste management, food security, skills acquisition training, awareness creation, networking and, c o m m u n i t y i n v o l v e m e n t a n d participation. Our activities are mainly c a r r i e d o u t t h r o u g h g r a s s r o o t s mobilization and networking. The Core values of AACCF is centered upon transparency, accountability, partnership, integrity, innovation, respect and professionalism.
STAFFING STRENGTH
For the effective implementation of all AACCF’s projects including the partnership projects from 2020 to 2024 project activities, AACCF have recruited project manager, shelter, NFI and C C C M o ffi c e r a n d a n A s s i s t a n t , Agricultural officer and an Assistant, M&E officer, Finance Officer, Logistic and procurement officer and Human Resource and Admin officer. In addition to the above essential staff, other very important specialists were also engaged by AACCF on project basis. These are Shelters Engineers, Agricultural extension Specialists and Proposal Writing specialists.
AACCF also has over 80 community volunteers spread across Borno State who w i l l b e e n g a g e d d u r i n g p r o j e c t implementations. The Core values of AACCF is centered upon transparency, accountability, partnership, integrity, innovation, respect and professionalism.
MISSION
The primary mission of AACCF Orphanage Project is providing the orphaned, destitute, outcast, unloved, needy, sick, handicapped and/or dying persons, with a home, love, happiness, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual nourishment, the highest level of education possible, and a hope for a bright future.
VISION
The vision of AACCF Orphanage Project is to one day have a self-sustaining community consisting of a children’s home, orphanage, school, university, training centre, place of worship, hospital and other facilities that help a community to succeed. Our vision is to one day establishing such communities all over Borno State.
Goals and Objectives
The AACCF Orphanage Project’s primary objective is to meet the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of orphaned and/or destitute children by providing them with love, care, nourishment, guidance, and the highest level of education so that they can grow to be valued members of society with a promising future and a memorable past.
The Orphanage Project also aims to provide all of the children of Borno Sate with the highest level of education and guidance, so they can grow to be assets to their community and so that they can compete competitively for jobs, admissions and placement upon graduation. The Orphanage Project aims to not only cater to children’s mental needs, but to provide a complete package, by catering to the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the children as well.
Another goal of The Orphanage Project is to provide disabled persons with the requisite therapy, training, and care and love so they can overcome the social limitations placed on them because of their disability and achieve their goals and dreams. The Orphanage Project also aims to educate the general public about disabilities in an attempt to destroy the many myths and stereotypes about disabilities rampant in the community.
The Orphanage Project also seeks to aid outcast, battered and widowed men and women by providing them with an accepting environment, love, mental, p h y s i c a l , e m o t i o n a l a n d s p i r i t u a l nourishment, jobs, training and the power to step into the outside world and accomplish their goals and dreams, putting their past behind them. Yet another aim of The Orphanage Project is to provide destitute or needy elderly persons with a clean, safe, comfortable and loving environment, in which to spend their golden years in dignity.
The organization also has the goal of providing sick individuals with the highest level of love, care and medical attention available. Also, The Orphanage Project seeks to provide the terminally ill with whatever is necessary so that they may spend their last days with dignity.
The Orphanage Project aims to provide all persons with training and access to the latest technology, concepts, and ideas as well as time-tested traditions and ideas so that they can successfully compete in the global economy.
